 Championship rules

1. This event is a six round Swiss paired tournament, and we will all play one game a month for six months.

2. The latest laws of chess apply, including touch-move and touch-take. Players must use clocks and record their moves.

3. The normal time control is at least 30 minutes each for the whole game; if you start quickly, 40 minutes .

4. You can check progress each month on this web[page; let me know if anything is wrong or missing.

5. The controller's decision, however unfair, is final.
